Loveland, Colorado (ots/PRNewswire)
SuperTurbo Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the start of final product design validation work for the SuperTurbo. This important milestone is the result of several years of successful technology and product development and refinement, including extensive testing at OEMs as well as industry leading third party test facilities.
The SuperTurbo is designed to support 7.5 liter to 16 liter diesel engines for on-highway and construction applications where increasingly stringent emissions and CO2 regulations require advanced air management systems. The design validation process is managed by AVL as part of a broader partnership that includes “Design for Manufacturing” with key manufacturing partners. SuperTurbo chose AVL as a partner in order to use the company’s decades of experience and industry-leading expertise to carry out extensive tests and analyzes on durability, functionality and increased reliability with the help of simulations, test benches, engine test benches and vehicle tests. The result of this process will be a SuperTurbo design that is fully tested and ready to meet the tough, real-world demands of the commercial vehicle market
Production partners were identified and plans developed to bring the SuperTurbo into production upon successful completion of the design validation process.
World’s leading engine manufacturers continue to show strong interest in the SuperTurbo to meet the emissions requirements of China 7, Euro 7 and California Air Resource Board / EPA 2024/2027 while achieving excellent transient response and high efficiency.
