Wolfenbüttel: Motor scooter drivers without an appropriate driver’s license on the road
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, around 5.15 p.m.
According to a witness, a police patrol checked a 17-year-old scooter driver in the Bahnhofstrasse in Wolfenbüttel on Wednesday afternoon. The witness had stated that the driver had been traveling at around 75 km / h in some cases, although the moped scooter only had a maximum speed of 25 km / h. During the inspection, there were indications that the scooter had probably been “coiffed”. The scooter was seized for review. There is also the suspicion that the scooter was put into operation without appropriate insurance. Various investigations were initiated against the 17-year-old driver, for example on suspicion of driving without a license.
