On Saturday (14.08.2021) from 3 p.m. on Europaplatz, an election campaign event of the AfD party for the federal election with around 50 participants took place.
At a registered meeting in the Hartmannstrasse / Denisstrasse area, up to 100 people gathered at the top.
Both meetings ended at around 4:20 pm. From the police point of view, they were peaceful and trouble-free.
As part of a bicycle demonstration train for “Christopher Street Day”, an interim rally took place at around 2:45 pm on Berliner Platz. The elevator started in Mannheim and ran over the Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke to Ludwigshafen and over the Kurt-Schumacher-Brücke back to Mannheim. Apart from minor disturbances in traffic, there were no disruptions.
