1. Arrested after breaking into a warehouse in Hanau
At 02.45 in the night of Sunday there was a break-in in a warehouse in Saarstrasse in Hanau. The two 31- and 34-year-old suspects broke the front door of a logistics company. When the burglars noticed the rushing police, they initially tried to escape, but could be tracked down by using a police helicopter and subsequently arrested. The criminal police in Hanau has taken over the investigation.
2. Arrested after attempted car theft – Main Valley
A van was the target of a thief on Sunday morning at 3:20 a.m. The 31-year-old suspect entered the property of a logistics company in Lise-Meitner-Strasse in Dörnigheim and went straight into the unlocked vehicle. When he wanted to start this, an employee of the company became aware of it and was able to hold the man until the police arrived. Here, too, the colleagues from Hanau are responsible for further investigations.
