With over 1.3 per thousand alcohol in his blood, a 72-year-old man behind the wheel of a Porsche caused a rear-end collision in the parking lot of a supermarket on Radolfzeller Strasse on Monday afternoon, causing property damage of around 10,000 euros. At around 1:15 p.m., the 72-year-old drove into the rear of a waiting Mercedes in the parking lot and damaged both vehicles. People were not harmed. During the subsequent police accident recording, the officers deployed found that the 72-year-old was influenced by alcohol. An alcohol test carried out then showed over 1.3 per mille. After a blood sample has been taken, the man must now answer criminal proceedings for the drive under the influence of alcohol and the traffic accident that was caused. The driver’s license was withheld.
