Main-Tauber-Kreis: Accidents in snow and ice

Two girls between the ages of 15 and 16 defied police officers on Saturday and verbally abused them. The young people’s parents had notified the police and reported their daughters missing. Investigations revealed that the girls were staying with an acquaintance in Steinbach. When the police officers arrived at the scene at around 10.30 p.m., they found the youths drunk. Despite repeated requests, the young women refused to give their personal details and shouted hysterically. They refused to leave the apartment and come to the police car. When the 16-year-old tried to escape into the darkness on foot, a police officer held her and took her to the patrol car. Against this she offered massive resistance and tried to tear herself away. The woman fell in the scramble. In the course of the operation, the 15- and 16-year-olds insulted and threatened the police officers. A breath alcohol test carried out showed a value of 1.4 per thousand in the 16-year-old. The 15-year-old did not do a test. The police officers handed the girls over to their parents. Both young people must now expect reports of resistance and insults.

Mulfingen: On the way in oncoming traffic and fled after an accident

After an accident in Mulfingen, the police are looking for a white sprinter with an Ansbacher license plate. On Sunday, a 53-year-old was driving her VW Golf from Mulfingen towards Hollenbach. At around 1:50 p.m., the Sprinter came towards her on the side of the lane, which is why she turned left onto the opposite lane and deviated from the lane there. While a 62-year-old was driving his semitrailer on Landesstraße 511 in Wittighausen in a south-westerly direction and wanted to turn, a 24-year-old started to overtake. At around 3 p.m. there was contact between the Seat and the truck. Both drivers were uninjured.
