On September 30, 2020, around 5:10 p.m., a traffic accident with a frontal collision was reported to the command and situation center of the Freiburg Police Headquarters.
According to the current status of the investigations, the 62-year-old who caused the accident can easily get into oncoming traffic from a previously unknown cause and touch an oncoming car. For this reason, he is turned away into oncoming traffic and collides head-on with another oncoming car. In the collision, the person who caused the accident dies at the scene of the accident, four other people involved were slightly injured and came to the surrounding hospitals as a precaution. The L120 is currently still fully blocked, a local diversion has been set up.
