In the early hours of Saturday morning, officials from the Erfurt Süd inspection service were in the Leipziger Platz area. At that time, a cyclist approached them who suddenly fell off his bike when he saw the police officers. After he was helped on his feet and he was asked how he was feeling, the reason for the fall was quickly found in the excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages, because the 36-year-old Erfurt ventilated the Alcomat with a value of 1.83 per mille.
