(tka) Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, the Frankfurt fire brigade was alerted to Bockenheim in Große Seestrasse. When the fire brigade arrived, there was a fire in an attic apartment (5th floor), and the fire threatened to spread to the neighboring house. The fire brigade immediately deployed 3 troops wearing respiratory protection to fight the fire, while a turntable ladder supported the fire fighting from outside. The affected house and the neighboring house were evacuated by the fire brigade as a precaution for the duration of the extinguishing work. It was possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the neighboring house. Nobody was injured during the operation. The fire brigade and the rescue service were on site with a total of 20 vehicles and 55 emergency services. The professional fire brigade was supported by the volunteer fire brigade in Hausen. After the extinguishing work was completed, the police station was handed over to the police to determine the cause of the fire at around 9:30 p.m. No information can be given on the property damage incurred.
