Shortly before the Super Bowl, FSV Zwickau coach Joe Enochs TAG24 answered questions.
Zwickau – Sunday night beats FSV-Coach Joe Enochs (50) over the strands. Get on the couch, snacks at hand and watch the Super Bowl. When the Los Angeles Rams meet the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood (California), the native American stares spellbound at his homeland. TAG24 talked to him beforehand.

TAG24: Joe Enochs, as a California native, are you crossing your fingers for Los Angeles?
Enochs: “Nah! I’m a fan of the Oakland Raiders who are now playing in Las Vegas. The rest of my family is with the San Francisco 49ers. If they hadn’t been knocked out in the semifinals I would have been with them. But I’m looking forward to a good game as it is. “
TAG24: That should last until the early hours of the morning…

Enochs: “I always try to watch until the end. That’s not always possible because of the training times – or because the game isn’t that captivating.”
TAG24: Captivating is the keyword. The Super Bowl is considered the largest single sporting event in the world, captivating hundreds of millions. How so?
Enochs: “Speaking for the United States and for myself, we’re generally crazy about sports. The Super Bowl is one of those sporting events that is lived in a special way. When I was studying in Sacramento, I always went up to my family in Petaluma driven.”

TAG24: What does the Super Bowl night at the Enochs’ in Zwickau look like?
Enochs: “It’s one of the few nights that I get carried away (laughs). There’s finger food. My wife Gunilla makes me a delicious artichoke dip for the chips. There’s also guacamole, salsa and a beer. I’m watching the game alone, but for the halftime show I’m supposed to wake up Gunilla and our daughter Sophie. That’s the only thing that interests them about the game (laughs).”
TAG24: The NFL is expanding to Germany and will premiere in Munich in 2022. A milestone?
Enochs: “I think it’s great! I got the chance to see the Raiders in Las Vegas after Christmas. It was a must-do experience.”
