Together with the Network Companies Integrating Refugees (NUIF), the central association is organizing an online event that will include impulse lectures and practical tips.
Frankfurt (abz). The updated regulations for the immigration of skilled workers have gradually come into force since November 2023. They also open up new ways for the bakery trade to attract trainees from third countries. Some training companies have already gained initial experience. You can read more about this in the upcoming ABZ issue 21, which will be published on October 26th.
Legal and practical examples for bakeries
Together with the Network Companies Integrating Refugees (NUIF), the Central Association of the German Bakery Trade is organizing a nationwide, free online event tomorrow, Thursday, October 24th, and will provide information about the legal basis and requirements in around one and a half hours. In addition, a bakery will report on the recruitment and integration of trainees from third countries. The offer also includes an insight into the work of a language school and an placement agency from Vietnam. There will be time for questions and exchange afterwards.
New platform for training staff
The online event will take place on the new platform for training and examination personnel “Leando”. For the bakery trade, the central association moderates the group “Training practice in the bakery trade” together with the Federal Academy in Weinheim and other technical schools from the ADB association. The training staff in the bakery trade can actively participate in this group. You can register for Leando for free here.
