White spots is a regular film cycle that has been taking place at the Art Center since 2018 Zuzeum. The aim of the cycle is to fill the audience’s white spots with cinematic knowledge, providing an opportunity to jointly watch both older and recent films, which can be safely called the pearls of cinema. White spots 2021 season theme – Utopias and dystopias.
The film series will open on the evening of July 22 with a 1998 film directed by Peter Weir Truman show. Entrance to the event from 21, around 22 seconds Zuzeum director Agnese Klein and the project Kino Kults address by co-founder Sergei Musatov. The movie will then be shown.
The venue of the screenings is the newly created courtyard of the art center Zuzeum. Construction site (Lācplēša Street 101). Admission to the outdoor sessions is free. The films are shown in English with English subtitles. Viewers need a valid Covid-19 certificate attesting to vaccination or Covid-19 disease.

Open-air cinema is one of the programs Museum summer 2021 measures. The summer program will be continued by a graffiti art workshop and concerts Zuzeum anniversary. The events of the summer program will be announced gradually and organized throughout the summer.
