ZÜRICH – Zurich Zoo again regrets the loss of a young elephant due to an infectious disease. The management announced the death of the five-year-old cow Ruwani on Saturday due to the herpes virus EEHV. The day before, the animal, which was treated with antiviral drugs, showed no signs of disease.
