A space station in space with a view of Earth, a pink ball pit or a tinsel-decorated four-poster bed: visitors can go on a selfie safari again from Monday at Füsslistrasse 6. After great successes in Zurich 2020 and Lausanne 2021, the pop-up concept is coming back with its newly decorated hotel rooms for six months.
“The Selfie Hotel is aimed at anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a colorful world for a few hours,” says co-founder Isabelle Newson. Young people and those young at heart are just as welcome as families with children.

Selfie hotel began in the Corona period
The search for colorful and unique content is still a big topic, especially on social media like Instagram and Tiktok, says Newson. It is precisely this demand that the Selfie Hotel wants to meet. “All of our selfie spots are lit in such a way that even non-influencers can easily take cool photos.”
The interactive museum was launched for the first time during the Corona period in collaboration between the company Team Future and the organization #Wirsindzukunft. Their goal: “To give the dreary Corona time some content and color.” The construction of the 20 sets took around two weeks. The two floors of the 25hours Hotel were transformed and attracted more than 16,400 guests during the three-month exhibition period. Thanks to social media, the colorful images reached an estimated 1.2 million people.
Tickets are available online from just under 16 francs. As many photos as possible can be taken during a 90-minute time slot. Changing outfits is also possible quickly and easily; there are changing rooms on site.
