At the beginning, he received death threats from other inmates in the prison, reports the 44-year-old accused in the upper court. Fellow inmates interpreted things into his conviction and thought he was a “child fucker”, but now everything has calmed down. He was lucky that he was only on a ward with 14 inmates. He found the four-year prison sentence that he had received from the Zurich District Court disproportionately high. That’s why he appealed. His defense attorney will request a 21 month sentence. The public prosecutor demands confirmation.
