Zurich City Parliament punishes SVP politician Derek Richter

He had expressed himself disparagingly towards foreigners and denounced a green colleague at the Kesb. Now Derek Richter has a job going on in Zurich.

The action brought the barrel to overflow. Last October it became known that the Zurich SVP city parliamentarian Derek Richter had reported a Green council colleague to the Kesb. He submitted the threat report because the 14-year-old daughter of the Greens had taken part in an unauthorized climate demonstration in Bern. As a person with a public-law mandate, he felt obliged to act, Richter told the NZZ at the time.
