Zurich Airport faces passport control controversy despite efforts to fix last year’s issues

Zurich Airport has made headlines in recent days with long queues at passport control – and this after a year to fix last summer’s problems. Nevertheless, it was not possible to increase the number of staff in line with the influx of customers. The excuse that demand recovered surprisingly quickly after the pandemic no longer works this time.
