Are you traveling through Zurich Airport before or during the holidays to visit family abroad or go on vacation? Then remember: the airport is expecting more passengers than usual over Christmas and New Year.

The peak day is expected to be December 22nd – with an expected number of travelers of around 90,000 passengers. Zurich Airport provides useful tips so that you can travel relaxed despite the hustle and bustle.

“The better prepared the passengers come to the airport, the faster our staff can progress,” explains media spokeswoman Bettina Kunz. This includes: “Checking in online, packing the liquids in hand luggage and checking the baggage rules – travelers can do this well in advance at home.”

1. Check in online or the evening before
