Matheus Machado opened the scoring on the fifteen minute mark. A few minutes later the score was 2-0 via Tochukwu Nnadi. Eric Ocansey scored the tying goal before the half hour mark, but just before half time Pape Demba made it 3-1. Andres Labie put the 4-1 final score on the board in the 79th minute.
With the victory, Zulte Waregem becomes 5th in the standings. In the play-offs for a promotional ticket, Essevee takes on the 4th, Lommel. Deinze (3rd) meets Patro (6th). Whoever wins the play-offs in 1B will then compete against the second of the play-downs from the Jupiler Pro League to still be promoted to the highest class.
