In the last 24 hours, a total of 435 new infections of covid-19 were confirmed in Venezuela: 376 community cases and 59 “imported”.
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, through tweets, pointed out this Friday 11-D that the national total is now 106,715.
The entity with the most cases was Miranda (69), with active infections in 13 municipalities; followed by Zulia (55) and the Capital District (55).
Of the 59 “imported”, according to the balance, 38 come from Turkey that entered through La Guaira.
Regarding the deceased, on this 271st day of the pandemic, he stated: “We have the painful duty to report that today 6 Venezuelans died from COVID19: 2 men aged 68 and 84 from Yaracuy, an 88-year-old woman and a man from 71 years in Miranda, a 44-year-old man in Lara and another 70 in Táchira. “
To date, in the country there are 944 deaths from the coronavirus, according to data from the authorities.
