Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan said that there were brotherly ties that were disturbed in society because the losing presidential and vice-presidential candidates joined the cabinet formed by their rivals.
Although Zulhas did not mention the name explicitly, the presidential candidate in question focused on Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno who joined the Joko Widodo-Ma’ruf Amin cabinet, his rival in the 2019 presidential election.
“Disrupted national brotherhood, after the winner of the Presidential Election is obtained, in the end the losers also join the authorities,” said Zulhas in a video uploaded to his Youtube account, Zulkifli Hasan, Wednesday (24/3).
“The presidential and vice presidential challengers, both of whom are now also ministers, have joined the elected President,” he continued.
He then called the step of the challenger candidate joining the cabinet of the elected president with the term “no power and no power”.
According to Zulhas, the consequence of this is that society is divided and produces certain forts that are in conflict with each other.

Zulhas said that the politicization of religion was also carried out brutally, resulting in a narrow and mere symbolic Islamism. According to him, this allowed the entry of extreme and radical views.
He considered it sad. Zulhas said, the integrity of the nation and state is in danger because the polarization due to politics only causes hatred in society.
“A democratic party, which costs a lot for political parties and election participants, produces transactional, detrimental, and foolish patterns for the people. Meanwhile, the political tension is not well managed,” said the deputy chairman of the MPR.
Departing from that, Zulhas proposed a national reconciliation to restore our integrity in the nation and state.
According to him, the national elites must apologize to the public and promise to no longer use identity politics and SARA to carry out success in power.
