Zuidplas municipal employees who are suspended for sex riot resign | Inland

The videos that surfaced showed how several people had sex in the town hall. Zuidplas recently had it investigated who was involved in the sex incident.

Two of the employees who were suspended and resigned worked in enforcement team. The third person worked in a different department, the municipality said earlier. Zuidplas also speaks of a fourth person involved, but he would not be employed by the municipality.

The videos were made by young people. From the parking lot of the town hall they could follow the sex acts through the windows. In a lit room, two people were doing the deed and one floor higher, two others were busy.

In the statement, Zuidplas, a merged municipality that arose in 2010 when Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Moordrecht and Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle merged, regrets “the whole course of events”. Deputy Mayor Jan Verbeek previously called the actions inadmissible and said that it has an enormous impact on the municipal organization.
