The battle between two modern figures, Zuckerberg vs Elon, will be held at the Roman Colosseum. However, it is in danger of being canceled due to the blessing of the parents.
Competition between Facebook and Twitter in the world of social media is common. But, what if the competition between the two technology giants is presented in the ring.
The fight in the ring is not done business to business, but owner versus owner. Yes, the owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg will fight the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk.
The physical battle between the two is not even a joke, the plan is to be held in a historic place in Italy and is known as a place where gladiators fight, namely Colosseum Roma.
Many parties have been waiting for the duel between these two innovators, for example the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, who often becomes the ‘victim’ of Elon Musk’s ridicule on social media.
“If Musk and Zuckerberg really duel, I will come to witness it,” he said on the sidelines of the Bloomberg Technology Summit, quoted from GizmochinaSunday (2/7/2023).
But this rare moment seems to get a hitch, especially from Musk’s side. Because, the mother, Maye Musk, who is 75 years old, is like a mother in general who cannot bear to see her child get hurt. He stated that he refused the duel even though Elon was 52 years old.
“Don’t support this game!,” he wrote to broadcaster Fridman, quoted by the New York Post.
On his son’s social media platform, Maye also expressed his opposition to the match. He even said to cancel the fight between his son and Mark Zuckerberg.
“Actually, I called off the fight. I haven’t told them yet. But I will keep saying the fight is cancelled, just in case,” he wrote.
However, until now there has been no confirmation that the match has been scheduled or cancelled. On the other hand, Maye actually provides a funny alternative to replace the frightening battle between the two most famous innovators.
“Just a verbal battle. Three questions each. The funniest answer wins. Who agrees?” he proposed
If Maye’s idea is to be chosen by the two, it feels no different from seeing Elon Musk’s account in everyday life, because his son often tweets ridiculous things on Twitter.
Whereas on the other hand, Zuckerberg seems to have prepared this battle with enough intent. Even, Zuckerberg is said to have been training at the MMA gym since September. Even cooler, in an Instagram post back in May, Zuckerberg posted his first win in an amateur Brazilian jujitsu tournament.
