Zubří won the first two matches at home by seven and nine goals, respectively, and Nový Veselí did not manage to dramatize the series even in its own hall. “It was amazing. We expected Nové Veselí to bite like this. But I’m glad that we broke off in the second half and we had the match under control quite quickly,” Zubří coach Peter Dávid told Czech Television.

Despite the clear score, he said the matches were challenging. “We realized what we set out to do. We always caught the goalkeeper. We play the next match in three weeks, so we will have to come up with a good program,” said the Slovak coach.

The next two series may end on Sunday. Today, Kopřivnice surprisingly defeated the winner of the basic part of Karviná at 31:30 and reduced it to 1: 2 for matches. The best scorer of the match, Vojtěch Patzel, reduced the difference to a single goal with his twelfth goal in the end, but the favorite did not manage to equalize.
