Cameras that are integrated under the screen have taken a big step forward in development through the ZTE Axon 30. Unlike its predecessor, it is difficult to distinguish where the camera is under the panel.
One of the reasons why the camera was so visible in the first model was that the pixel density around the image sensor was significantly lower than for the rest of the screen. ZTE has increased the pixel density from 200ppi to 400ppi.
At the same time, the company must have succeeded in increasing the light input. However, the camera still tends to take worse pictures than traditional counterparts, but this may be a minor compromise for those who still rarely use the front camera. The camera takes 16MP pictures with the f2.0 aperture. The fingerprint reader is also located under the panel.
Otherwise, Axon 30 has hardware on a par with the upper middle segment or the lower top segment. The panel is 6.92 ″ with OLED technology, 1080 x 2460 pixels, aspect ratio 20.5: 9, 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz sampling rate.

The chip ZTE sat there is Snapdragon 870, which despite the name is a further development of last year’s top chip from Qualcomm (Snapdragon 865 Plus). The phone has memory card slot, NFC, 5G and Bluetooth 5.1. Everything comes to life from a 4200mAh battery with 55W fast charging.
The main camera has 64MP and it sits next to an 8MP super wide angle camera, a 5MP camera for macro photography, and a 2MP depth measuring sensor. Information about storage and working memory is missing at the time of writing – we will return to that point.
Axon 30 will first be released in China, but ZTE says that a global version is underway and will be launched soon.
