Company Zonky it ceases to offer its clients from the ranks of investors the possibility of manual investment and will leave only the Zonky Rentiér service. It is easier to use, the customer only chooses the amount invested and the period for which he wants to invest. The company will make manual investing inaccessible to new users on 31 August 2021, and from 1 November even existing customers will not be able to invest manually. Zonka will have already started the manual investment under the original conditions.
“The volume of new deposits in Rentiér has even tripled in recent months compared to manual investments. The rentier is generally easier for clients and does not require much time compared to manual investment. All you have to do is choose the amount of the deposit and Zonky Rentiér will take care of the rest. From the point of view of efficiency, however, it no longer makes sense to keep two services side by side that perform a similar function. That is why we decided to gradually reduce the support of manual investment and focus our capacities only on further improving Zonka Rentiéra and also to pay more attention to loans, “said Zonka CEO Jiří Humhal.
Zonky focuses on peer-to-peer loans. People can borrow from other users from 20 thousand to 900 thousand crowns with a maturity of 1 year to 10 years. Investors can then invest from 10,000 to 10 million for a period of 1 year to 20 years. This year, the company exceeded the limit of 100,000 provided loans.
