LIVE Techno – Exoplanet first discovered by astronomers 30 years ago, it turns out to be a rare exoplanet because it is located around fast-rotating stars, called pulsars.

The Jodrell Bank Observatory has followed a survey of 800 pulsars over the past 50 years. It turns out that exoplanets orbiting pulsars are still very rare and Earth-sized ones are only found in 4 out of 800 cases.
“The pulsar rotates very steadily around its axis. Each spin sends a strong signal that we can pick up on Earth. You can think of it as a very large cosmic beacon,” said Iuliana Nitu, a student at the University of Manchester in the UK.
Scientists can collect electromagnetic data with radio telescopes. These signals are very interesting. They can make interesting scientific discoveries with it.
The first exoplanet was discovered thirty years ago. This zombie planet orbits around a pulsar named PSR B1257+12. There are at least three celestial bodies there that resemble the planets in our solar system.
