While temperatures of around -13 degrees are expected at the biathlon race site in the Changjia area on Friday, they are expected to drop below minus 18 on Saturday. At temperatures of -20 and below, the races cannot take place, even at -15 in combination with strong winds, the conditions are subject to assessment by the organizers and doctors.

According to the new scenario, the women’s 12.5-kilometer race is scheduled for Friday from 8:00 CET. The men will set out on the 15-kilometer track two hours later according to the original plan.
