UPDATED 6:21 ABOUT RESULTS
She overtook the Austrian Mirjam Puchner by 22 hundred seconds, and another Swiss Michelle Gisinová won the bronze, lagging behind 0.30 s. Slovak Petra Vlhová did not start as the new Olympic slalom winner. Petra Hromcová (+6,60) a Rebeka Jančová (+6.67) took 38th and 39th place.
As the reigning world champion in this discipline, Gutová-Behrami was one of the top Bavarians in the competition. She set off on the “Skala” track with number 7, she went very well in the upper and especially in the middle part. She kept the right line and built up a lead of up to seven tenths of a second in the last split. In the lowest section, she lost his part, but she remained in the green numbers and none of her rivals overcame her.
At the age of 30, she received the most valuable Olympic medal, which she lacked in her collection. She had bronze from the 2014 downhill in Sochi and a huge slalom at the 2022 Olympic Games.
In her career, she is also proud of two world champion titles from last year (balance at the World Championship 2-3-3), a big globe for the first place in the overall World Cup 2015/2016, three small seasonal trophies for super-G (2014, 2016, 2021 ) and 34 victories in the prestigious series.

Defender of sensational gold from Pyongyang 2018 Ester Ledecká, who has already defended her title in parallel giant slalom in Beijing, set off on the track with number 2. Gisin lost thirteen hundredths and took fifth place. The Austrian Tamara Tippler was three hundredths short of the podium in the fourth place.
American Mikaela Shiffrin once again experienced Beijing’s disappointment. After falling out in the first round of the giant slalom and slalom, she started hopefully in the speed discipline, but in the middle and lower passage she gained a shortfall, which climbed to 0.79 in the finish and was enough for the ninth place.
After complications with positive coronavirus tests before leaving Beijing, Hromcová managed to take part in the super-giant slalom before arriving in the Chinese capital. She defeated another Olympic debutant, Jančová, by seven hundred, who scored her first result under five laps after not finishing the giant slalom and slalom.
