The Police issued an announcement about the result of the investigation they did on the University Campus. As he mentions, 3 arrests were made, while bats and chemical tear gas grenades were found in the premises of the student residence.

A police operation was planned and carried out, in the context of a preliminary case file, by police officers of the State Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate in the morning hours today, Saturday 16 March 2024 in the Zografou Campus and in particular in the Student Residences, with the aim of combating crime and delinquency .
The operation was coordinated by the scientific staff of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of the Hellenic Police Headquarters, while the operational part from the General Police Directorate of Attica involved police officers from the Athens Police Directorate, the Direct Action Directorate, Crime Prevention and Suppression Teams (OPKE .) and ACTION of the Attica Security Directorate as well as forces of the Order Restoration Sub-Directorate (Y.A.T.) of the Attica Police Operations Directorate.
