The United States continues to ban foreigners who have recovered from Covid-19 and have subsequently received one dose of Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca’s corona vaccines. In the European Union, this group is generally considered fully vaccinated, but the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a different view.

The US announced last week that fully vaccinated foreigners will be allowed to re-enter the country from November 8. It concerns any combination of WHO-approved vaccines that require two doses, or one injection of the Janssen vaccine. Travelers must present a vaccination certificate and a recent negative test result before departure.
The Americans introduced a strict entry policy at the beginning of the pandemic, making it virtually impossible to travel to the country without a US passport or residence permit.
