“Our game was enlivened by the alternating fighters Kovinič, Dramé and Tkáč, who were rested and really fired up. We created two or three more dangerous situations from which we could have scored the winning goal. However, given the course of the match, we have to take it easy,” he added realistically experienced coach.

He thanked the Zlín fans for their support. “According to the atmosphere in the stadium, I had the feeling that this time there were almost exclusively people who wanted us to save ourselves. They supported us significantly, and thanks to them we won at least a draw,” he said.

Vrba knows very well that every point scored at the end of the season will be extremely important in the final reckoning. Now Zlíny have two key away matches in Teplice and Pardubice. “We are still alive, but we need to win at least one of them. If we let our opponents, with whom we are fighting for the play-off spots, escape by four points, it would be bad,” the coach realizes.

He acknowledges with thanks that at the end of this league season, offensive midfielder Chanturišvili, who is recovering from a knee injury, may still help Zlín footballers. “His condition is improving. A week ago he couldn’t even bend his knee, but now he’s riding a bike. He has all the services to get fit as soon as possible. It is quite realistic that he will still appear on the lawn,” Vrba would welcome.
