Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave an interview to Piers Morgan where, like himself, he addressed some topics related to the world of football (and beyond) in a… somewhat controversial way. From his role as a villain in a James Bond film to his disagreement with Pep Guardiola, it is fair to say that the former striker, who put a end of career in June this yearleft nothing unsaid.
“The first time I met Pep Guardiola, he said to me: ‘Remember that the players here don’t come with Ferraris’. What did I do? Of course, I took the f… out of my Ferrari”, He began by mentioning the Swede, before remembering Mino Raiola, his longtime agent who died in April last year. “It was a big loss. It wasn’t just my agent, it was everything to me. I still miss him. We all do.”
In a more relaxed manner, Ibrahimovic was also faced with a dilemma: football or sex? “Sex is better than football. Anyone who thinks differently has a problem and should seek help,” he assured, adding: “When I say I’m God, do you think I’m joking? I’m not.”
The 42-year-old former player was also ‘challenged’ to participate in a film with James Bond. The answer, of course, did not disappoint: “I would destroy James Bond, but I’m too expensive. I don’t work for free”, he concluded.
It should be noted that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s interview with Piers Morgan is released in full on Thursday.
