Swedish football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, after a serious injury, presented himself again in the jersey of AC Milan.

He started in the match of the 24th round of Serie A, in which the reigning Italian champions won at home against Atalanta Bergamo 2:0. The Swedish gunner came to the field in the 74th minute of the meeting and thus became the oldest player in the club’s history.

“For the last six months of last season, I really wanted to help the team, even though I couldn’t really play. I could have had the operation earlier, but I promised the coach that I would wait because I wanted to be with the team and help him. I have two or three training sessions and I played 15 minutes. I miss practice, but if I stay in this health condition, I can play for several more years, not just one season.” Ibrahimovic said according to goal.com.

The 41-year-old Swede returned after 280 days, when he had to undergo surgery for knee problems. In December 2019, he returned to AC Milan and scored 36 goals in 75 matches. “Rossoneri” won the league title again last season after 11 years.
