Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Helena Seger appeared at the Sanremo festival on Tuesday night.
Zlatan took his place on stage – and poked the Italian president.
– How many goals did he score?, says the Swede.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended his playing career last summer and is today an advisor at AC Milan. On Tuesday evening, he appeared at the Sanremo festival, when Italy’s equivalent of the Melodifestivalen began.
The last time he was there was in 2021. This time he didn’t keep a low profile.

On his way up to the stage, Ibrahimovic handed out some cards with a picture of himself in a Milan training shirt to some in the audience and one to presenter Amadeo Sebastiani.
Once on stage, Ibrahimovic sent a boot to the presenter.
– You are 61, I am 42 and I stopped to listen to my body. I’m here to protect you from yourself, remember the chaos you caused last year?.

After being on stage, Ibrahimovic is said to have asked how he gets to “his place” up there in the exclusive balcony seats.
But Italian President Sergio Mattarella was already sitting there.
– Oh really? How many goals did he score?, asked Zlatan raptly.
He then settled down in the front row, next to his partner Helena Seger.
