Chelsea fans have in the past called for Hakim Ziyech to leave. But never have they gone so far as is currently the case with Graham Potter. The petition has already garnered over 40,000 signatures showing the determination of Chelsea supporters. The London club seems to have lost its fame since its takeover by American businessman Todd Boehly. “Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and the shareholders, this petition is addressed to you to fire Graham Potter. He has won two of our last 15 games, leaving fans exhausted and devastated, despite having spent hundreds of millions. We have immense quality in the team, but there is one area we can change and that is the coach. For the future of Chelsea Football Club, please fire Graham Potter,” the signatories wrote.

Currently 10ᵉ in the league, the Blues are ten points from places for the Champions League. With their defeat against Borussia Dortmund, they are one step away from elimination. Since taking over as head of the club, the former Brighton coach has already lost 10 games out of 26. Yet Chelsea have invested heavily in recruitment. This further inflames the anger of petition signatories. Rumor has it that the club have offered a golden contract to Zinedine Zidane so that he agrees to replace the English technician.
