Zipfelkappen Club’s 4-Day Excursion to Linz and Mostviertel: Adventures and Sightseeing Galore

Via the Arlberg in Tyrol to Strass. As a surprise, there was a white sausage dinner at the Gasthof Post. Then we continued through Ramsau to the Königssee, with a beautiful view over the lake and wonderful weather, we had lunch. On to Upper Austria, to the Hotel Kolping in Linz, where the rooms were settled. Day 2: Visit to the Benedictine monastery in Seitenstätten. Lunch at Hotel Ott, drive to Lunz am See. In the evening at the hotel, a three-course dinner awaited us. Two new Zippfenkäppler, Oswald Heim and Kurt Keckeis, were accepted into the club. Two brisk, funny musicians then played until it was time to sleep. Day 3: Visit to the Voestalpine. Afterwards lunch in the restaurant “Josef”. In the afternoon, the Mostviertler farm museum amazed us with around 22,000 objects. Return to the hotel in Linz. Day 4: Breakfast and farewell to Linz. Trip to Salzburg to Red Bull’s Hangar 7. Viewing the unique pieces is always an experience. Lunch at the Grünauer Hof. Strengthened, we drove to Heimat-Nüziders.
