Diablo 4’s ongoing beta has raised a number of questions, including a piece focused on whether Diablo 4 will soon be heading to Game Pass. Activision Blizzard CEO Rod Ferguson responded to this question: “We’ve had a few questions about D4 on Game Pass, and I want to let you know that we don’t have any plans to do that.However, this statement does not mean that the upcoming event will not head to this service at all or will not arrive in the coming months and years.
Microsoft’s ongoing bid to take over Activision Blizzard could mean that Diablo 4 will appear on Game Pass and effectively become one of its main draws once the deal goes through, as Xbox doesn’t have as many exclusives as PlayStation, at least for now. And almost “for free”, even those who are not thinking about buying it would certainly test this piece.
