Zing: Regardless of Playtime, Steam Offers Refunds for The Last of Us Part I

In recent days, we have informed you about the technically problematic PC version of The Last of Us Part I in the form of separate news, a comparison video and a full-fledged review.

Now they’re coming to us via Reddit Interesting information from select players who have requested a refund on Steam. Normally, Steam only accepts refunds if a specific user has played for a maximum of 2 hours. But with The Last of Us, Steam is apparently refunding even players who have spent more time in the game.

Valve has already taken a similar step in the past with other games that were not technically mastered, such as Batman: Arkham Knight. In the case of the news from the Naughty Dog studio, it may be the main reason initial long loading of shaderswhich took some players several hours.

Even so, it cannot be assumed that Valve would return your money even at the moment when you have demonstrably spent dozens of hours in the game or even finished it completely. However, you can probably expect a certain degree of benevolence with The Last of Us Part I.
