Zimra Geurts forgives Tim Hofman for misogynistic texts | Stars

entertainment">In the video, a fragment of a broadcast of Squirt & Swallow, Hofman can be seen making a comment in the camera about Geurts’ “bigger tits than the rest of the Netherlands”. During the interview that follows, he tips the model to “show a tit.” In an extensive post, Geurts now says that she notices several things about the video. “I mainly see 2 young people who think that if they make rude, stupid comments, they will be seen by others as ‘cool’ and ‘great’ and that people will like them,” she wrote. “I see 2 young people copying behavior they grew up with. At that time there were (and still are) so many really clunky programs where people did the stupidest things, along the lines of ‘yeah that’s cool, then you’re cool’ if you participate in them and you behave like that.”

entertainment">When she looks at herself, she sees a girl who pretended to be “many times dumber” than she was. According to her, it was “some sort of trend” on television when she was growing up. “I came out of the Gymnasium myself, but I went along with it, insecure as I was. Then people could laugh at me and I was liked,” says Geurts. “I forgive Tim and I forgive myself for pretending to be so much dumber than I am. And I am grateful for the lessons it gives us.”
