Zimbabwe to Criminalize Recruitment of Health Personnel by Other Countries

ansa

Zimbabwe intends to enact a law that “criminalizes” the recruitment of its health personnel by other countries. This was stated by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, who also holds the position of Minister of Health, denouncing the flight of health workers from the country and their employment elsewhere, a phenomenon which he considers comparable to human trafficking. “If you deliberately take over and make the country suffer, this is a crime against humanity.”
