After losing the toss, Namibia scored 146 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs. Newman Takudswa Nyahuri was the best bowler in the Zimbabwean bowling line-up taking four wickets.
The player took four wickets by giving away just 21 runs in ten overs. Ryan Simbi gave away 20 runs and took three wickets as Namibia collapsed.
Batting in reply, Zimbabwe overturned the target with eight wickets remaining in 35.3 overs. Panaseh Tharuwinga scored an unbeaten 59 runs off 115 balls in the Zimbabwean batting and Zimbabwe won by eight wickets.
The Zimbabwe Under 19 cricket team has restricted Namibia Under 19 to 146 runs for 8 in their allotted 50 overs in a must win encounter at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup.

With the win, Zimbabwe are in third place in Group C with two points from three matches including one win and two losses. Namibia is in last place after losing three matches.
