Actress Veronika Žilková and the Czech Ambassador to Israel Martin Stropnický are apart after 18 years. The information was brought by the Blesk portal, to which the actress confided, even though her husband informed her of an unexpected message by e-mail.

Veronika Žilková and Martin Stropnický have before the divorce. Her husband had to notify her of the unexpected life decision after her joint vacation in Dubai by e-mail. “It said that he no longer loved me and that he apologized to me,” Veronika Žilková told lightning.

As she admitted, she was quite surprised by the news. A week ago, the actress on the instagram boasted a “happy” photo from the holiday, and it is clear from the comments on the film that she really had no idea that the marriage was coming to an end.

In the photo, she posed with her husband and their daughter, Kordula. “A photo together after a very long time. The family has to stick together, especially in this frightened time,” she wrote.

For Žilková and Stropnický, the 18-year life stage ends, during which they faced several difficulties. As Blesk reminds, the couple died in 2007, not even the one-year-old son Melichar, who was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. During Stropnický’s participation in Andrej Babiš’s government, the family had to live under the supervision of the protection service for some time after an incendiary bottle landed on her house.

After Stropnický took over the post of ambassador to Israel in 2018, Žilková left her artistic activities in the Czech Republic and traveled as her husband’s support with Kordula. However, after the start of the covid pandemic in the spring of 2020, at the urging of a seriously ill mother, the actress returned to the Czech Republic, and since then the couple have lived in a different country and visited each other.
