We are in 1993, Axelle red (Fabienne Demal) crosses the Belgian border with her first album Without further ado. She’s 25, she grew up listening to Abba and Aretha Franklin hits, and you can hear it in the song Sensuality which becomes his calling card. Toulouse residents Daniel and Richard Seff who smelled the talent ofAxelle red compose several titles for him. She adapts a song by Martha & The Vandellas A love like yours signed Lamont Dozier, but the best comes from Albert Hammond who wrote the music for Sensuality which is sixth in sales in Belgium, and second in France. Albert Hammond is not the partridge of the year. He wrote dozens of songs for Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross… He is also known to be the father of Albert Hammond Jr, singer and guitarist of the American group The Strokes. Otherwise, in the crispy news department, the song Sensuality almost called himself Sexuality… Which does not mean quite the same thing.
