Ziggo comes with new software for its digital receiver Mediabox Next. The software update contains a number of improvements.
Improvements
Ziggo has made a number of improvements in the new software update (version 4.28). Ziggo has listed the improvements:
- If a program is not properly stored on the Replay servers, you will see this immediately: the Replay icon is missing.
- When you have finished watching a program, you will return to the info page. “The sound in the background has now been switched off, so that you are not startled by something that was on before.”, Says Ziggo
- When you record a program, your Mediabox now shows a pop-up with the title and the episode of the program.
- After closing the Netflix app on your media box, the image of live TV sometimes ran less smoothly. That has now been resolved.
Stability
In addition, Ziggo has further improved the stability of the receiver and small changes have been made to the app for Youtube. As a result, users of the app have to log in again once.
Update
In the night of November 30 to December 1, the update will first be rolled out in the provinces of Noord-Brabant and Limburg. The rest of the Netherlands will follow in the night of 7 to 8 December. It can take up to three days for the box to receive the update.
