Of course, Mickey Mouse ears couldn’t be missing at the Disney Festival at Ziegerhof.

The colorful afternoon began with a large Disney parade, like those that take place daily in famous parks around the world. The Ziegerhof management, consisting of Pauline Glania, Marina Schöne, Martina and Daniel Grimm, Florian Kruspel and Robin Kucher, welcomed the audience in perfect weather.

The visitors end up in the sewers of Paris and meet the nimble rat Rémy. From the rat’s perspective, the guests go on a wild journey across fields and meadows and finally end up in the Ziegerhof kitchen. Special effects such as water mist and movable seats are used. And all of this is set up in the Ziegerhof garage. “A cool idea – for young and old,” says one visitor enthusiastically.

20 years of Ziegerhof St. Maria

This year, the Ziegerhof St. Maria is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and this birthday was also celebrated at a big party. Martina and Daniel Grimm, who have been members of the Ziegerhof management since the beginning of the leisure activity and have had a significant impact on the leisure activity, received great recognition. In addition to Martina and Daniel Grimm, Christian Sauer was honored for 18 years of work at the Ziegerhof. Christine Hirner and Claudia Kruspel were also honored for their work in the first management team in 2004.

Popular holiday resort on the outskirts of the city

In 2024, around 120 children will take part in the two-week suburban recreation program run by the St. Maria parish, supervised by 60 volunteers. In the second week, numerous special features await the children, such as a visit from the Wetzgau fire department, a hiking day, overnight stays for the elders and a special day.

The evening get-together marked the end of a successful day at the Wald Ziegerhof Studios. “The whole Ziegerhof family comes together at the festival,” said the leisure director happily, “and that shows that the Ziegerhof project is still working 20 years after it was launched.”
