Zidane, Deschamps’ best successor in the French national team

Madrid

There is only one if option Didier Deschamps do not continue to train French National. he is Zinedine Zidane.

Deschamps only has a contract with Les Bleus until the end of this month. His future has been speculated after France’s failure to win the 2022 World Cup.

France lost 2-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in 120 minutes. France has lost the crown it won four years ago in Russia.

Deschamps himself has confirmed that he will be speaking with the French Football Federation (FFF) next month. He wanted to enjoy the Christmas and New Year holidays first.

So it is only natural that several replacement names have appeared, if Deschamps really wants to end his 10-year service in the national team.

From those names, there was one person who felt fit to be Deschamps’ successor. It is Zidane, currently unemployed after leaving Real Madrid in 2021.

Zidane is believed to have the same good qualities to lead France to excellence.

“I feel Zizou is not only a good successor, but the best choice,” said the Real Madrid midfielder Tony Kros to AS diary.

“The more important question now is: what does Didier Deschamps want? I think Zizou’s chances of being the new France manager are 70/30. I have a feeling he really wants to get back into coaching.”

Zinedine Zidane truly be the best choice if you look at his achievements with Real Madrid with three Champions League titles and two LaLiga titles.
