Olympic champion Qinwen Zheng has a two-set win over her compatriot Xinyu Wang reached the final of the WTA Tour 1000 tournament in Wuhan. The Chinese will play in the final Aryna Sabalenka.

A week after Qinwen Zheng reached the semifinals at the WTA Tour 1000 event in Beijing, the Paris Olympic champion is now in the final in Wuhan. Zheng defeated compatriot Xinyu Wang 6:3 and 6:4 in the Chinese semifinals.
After 1:39 minutes, the seventh in the world rankings had made it to the final of the 1000 tournament in Wuhan and is serving in the final for her second title of the year. The opponent is Aryna Sabalenka, who has an impressive 16-0 win record in Wuhan after her semi-final win against Coco Gauff.
The world number two goes into the match with a clear 3-0 lead in the H2H. The last meeting was at the quarterfinals of this year’s US Open. The Belarusian won with a clear 6:1 and 6:2.
