In terms of cracking down on major vicious crimes, the Zhejiang Public Security Bureau cracked 31 homicide cases and maintained a 100% detection rate for 7 consecutive years. Up to now, the province’s public security organs have smashed 220 criminal gangs and arrested 53 gun-related suspects. In response to frequent cases in summer, such as picking quarrels and provoking troubles, stealing and deceiving, dragging cars to bomb the streets, drunk driving, etc., the public security organs of the province arrested 1,625 criminal suspects who disrupted public order and disturbed social order, cracked 4,532 theft cases, and arrested criminal suspects 3,584 people; 16 fraudulent insurance fraud cases were cracked, 144 criminal suspects were arrested, and 662,500 yuan of defrauded medical insurance funds were recovered; 6 “street bombing” gangs were destroyed, and 16,500 cases of drunk driving were investigated and dealt with.
In terms of crimes in the field of people’s livelihood, the province’s public security organs have organized various types of economic crimes, food and drug environmental and intellectual property crimes, and pornography, gambling and drug crimes. As of the end of July, a total of 2,490 economic crime suspects had been arrested, recovering economic losses of 369 million yuan; 370 food, drug, environmental and intellectual property crime cases were investigated and 1,147 criminal suspects were arrested; There were 3080 criminal suspects.
In addition, for new types of illegal crimes, the province’s public security organs have arrested a total of 11,900 suspects of telecommunications and network fraud, and recovered more than 71 million yuan in stolen money; destroyed 130 gangs of various types such as network hacking attacks, infringement of citizens’ personal information, and information network crimes , 1,345 criminal suspects were arrested; 5 criminal organizations involving Internet evil forces such as “naked chat extortion” and “Internet violence collection” were eliminated, and 53 criminal suspects were arrested.
