Zhdanov explained what Lukashenka is afraid of – World – tsn.ua

A purge of security officials of the lower and middle levels has begun.

According to military expert Oleg Zhdanovself-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko may send troops to Ukraine because he fears threats from Kremlin head Putin.

As the expert said during the marathon of the Freedom TV channel, Putin has a lever of pressure, namely, the removal of Lukashenka from power.

“This is almost the only argument that Putin has today, except for physical liquidation. Therefore, Lukashenka is looking for a consensus with society, the people’s militia, they say,” if you protect me, I guarantee that we will not go to war with Ukraine, “- Zhdanov noted.

The expert also said that, according to his information, the KGB of Belarus began to purge the ranks of the lower and middle-level security forces. Moreover, it is the pro-Russian officers who are being removed under the slogan “The way for the young.”

“In fact, Lukashenka’s entourage had security officials loyal to Russia. His KGB is more independent, which is why he clings to him,” the expert added.

Recall, according to US intelligence, Putin underwent treatment for advanced cancer in April and probably dies. In addition, an attempt was made on the head of the Kremlin in March.
